About me
About Me
42 Vienna graduate (Common Core, June 2026), now in the 42 Mastery/Advanced programme specialising in DevOps & Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. 42 Vienna is part of the 42 Network, the world's largest IT education network (50+ campuses, 30+ countries), ranked 3rd in the 2026 WURI innovation ranking ahead of MIT (5th) and Stanford (7th) on that list.
My work is grounded in systems-level thinking. On the security side this means hands-on exploration of process lifecycle manipulation and detection analysis, system exploitation and session control mechanisms and endpoint behaviour analysis in controlled environments.
On the infrastructure side it means building and operating the systems themselves: virtualisation, networking, automation and container orchestration.
On the application side, it means leading the technical architecture of a full-stack web application (React, TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL) and building its security layer: a web application firewall and secrets management.
I focus on understanding how systems execute, isolate and expose behaviour at runtime, whether the question is how to break something safely or how to keep it running reliably.

Current Focus
- 42 Mastery/Advanced programme, specialising in DevOps & Infrastructure and Cybersecurity
- Building a self-directed infrastructure lab: KVM/libvirt virtualisation, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes (k3s), Prometheus/Grafana and GitLab CI/CD
- Penetration testing fundamentals through system-level experimentation
- Developing offensive security labs in controlled environments
Core Areas
- System exploitation and session control mechanisms: setsid, process groups, signal handling
- Ephemeral execution: runtime isolation and persistence boundary in volatile memory environments
- X11 internals: window manager bypass, input grabbing, session takeover
- USB HID simulation (embedded system): user input emulation and endpoint testing
- Linux systems administration: partitioning, user and permission management, service hardening, cron-based monitoring
- Web application architecture and security: technical lead of a full-stack team project, web application firewall (ModSecurity, OWASP CRS), secrets management (HashiCorp Vault)
